Save the tigers and Charlotte!

! And help save the tiger Bobcat!

Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, also known as the Convention, is an international treaty designed to control and regulate international trade in animals and some plant species that potentially threatened or may be extinct.

Currently, 175 countries including the United States, are Parties to the Convention. Convention calls for the convening of meetings once every two years in one job is to consider amendments to the list of species may be threatened with extinction.

We have a unique opportunity to make public comments on two of the big cats that U.S. plans to submit for consideration.

First, the United States continues to support a strong position on the Conservation of the tiger and the efforts to combat illegal trade in tiger parts and other big cats in Asia and its derivatives. Of course, Big Cat Rescue fully supports this position.

Secondly, there is a proposal to remove the list of Charlotte's current protected species. Big Cat Rescue does not support this position.

Please write a letter to our representatives to extinction, and let them know you support strong conservation of the Tiger, but you insist that they keep the Charlotte under the protection of Annex II.
